Help to solve Errors: -6189, -83 or 6190, -83: QuickBooks was unable to open the company file
QuickBooks users are confronted with several problems while working in a multi-user environment. You might have noticed frequently that when you try to open a company file (possibly hosted by more than one computer in your network), you receive QuickBooks Error 6189, 83 that states:
"QuickBooks was unable to open the company file"
